Covid-19 - protecting the health of our passengers, volunteers, their families and the community

Based on our Covid-19 Risk Assessment we have suspended our cruises.
UPDATE 23 MAR: The earliest we hope to be able to resume cruises is 3rd August but of course this will be based on assessment of the risks and Government advice. We are taking bookings for cruises from this date.
Our policy covering Covid-19 is detailed here. We will keep you informed through this web page.
We are basing our response on the latest NHS advice and Government guidance for businesses which we continue to monitor.

Volunteers

What skills do I need?

If you’d like to crew, a boating background is an advantage but not essential. We have a training programme which is designed to enable anyone to become a qualified crew member or skipper. As far as the back office activities are concerned it’s always good to have organisational skills and those with IT skills would always be welcome.

The ability to get on with people is important and a good sense of humour always helps!

How much time is involved?

The simple answer is as much or as little as you are able to give, we have volunteers who are available for only one day a week in the season and others who are virtually full time throughout the year. There is always something that needs doing!

What jobs are on offer?

We are always on the lookout for crew members, please see our vacancies page for the positions that we are currently keen to fill.

Want to know more?

Please get in touch using the Contact page, and we would be pleased to talk to you, or better still complete and return an application form and we will take it from there.
