As in recent years Waveney Stardust II will again be at the 2018 Beccles Charter Weekend on 30th June and 1st July. We are taking part in the celebrations of the original granting of the Charter by Elizabeth I.
The 2018 Beccles Charter Weekend comprises riverside activities, raft displays, live folk and jazz music, refreshments and river trips, waterside activities, and historic vessels. Read about it, with a detailed list of venues, times and attractions on their website. There will be activity ‘hubs’ in the Hungate Church, Beccles Library, the Museum the Town Hall and Hipperson’s Boatyard.
Waveney Stardust will again be offering short trips from The Lido to demonstrate the wonderful facilities we have to enable the disabled and those with mobility issues to enjoy the Broads. Why not come along and see them for yourselves.
Come and meet some of our Waveney Stardust volunteers and catch up on our news. It would be great to see as many friends as possible to enjoy this excellent event.
Location: Beccles Town Waterfront, Beccles, Suffolk.
Waveney Stardust is a registered charity established to provide safe, subsidised river cruises for the disabled and/or elderly, including their family and friends; people who would not otherwise be able to access the pleasures of the Broadland Waterways.
Enjoy full and half day trips for up to twelve passengers on both the Northern and Southern rivers during the season.
Read what customers travelling on the Northern Broads think.
And customers on the Southern Broads.
